Being Complete, Sue Ahn

I am a 23-year-old student. When I was really little I met the Lord. I believed that He is the Son of God who came to the earth to die for us, but it was just objective to me.

When I turned 16, I came by myself to study in the United States. I happened to go to a Christian school, and because of that, I got to read the Bible and pray to the Lord. At that time, as a foreign student, I went through many difficulties, and I desperately needed someone or something to comfort me. Then I found the Bible which I had to have all the time with me in school. I began to read it, and by reading it, I received the Lord and experienced Him so subjectively. He was so real to me. I still can't forget the first moment He became so real to me that I knew He really lived in me. Then, I really began to pursue Him day and night (Philippians 3:12, 14). However, after I graduated from high school, I became lukewarm toward the Lord (Revelation 3:16). At this point, I couldn't be satisfied. For two years I rarely read the Bible or prayed. I didn't go to any Christian meetings, either, yet, inside of me, I still had a little desire toward the Lord, but I didn't know how to go on with Him.

One day, when I was a junior in college, I was given some message tapes about the book of Revelation. Through these messages, the Lord opened my eyes to see the overcomers, the church, Babylon, and the New Jerusalem. After these, I listened to a lot of other messages - they really quenched my thirst! These messages were the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee. The ministry of these two faithful brothers in Christ helped me to come back to the Lord and to attend Christian meetings again.

Now I know why I couldn't be satisfied. I had the Head, but I didn't have the body. Yet, now I both have the Head, Christ, and fellowship with members of His body (Ephesians 4:15-16). Finally, I am complete.
